MONTSOURIS backpack straps issue

Hi everyone. I love my montsouris BB backpack dearly but the straps are so annoying. Does anyone have a solution to make them flattering? I attached pictures how they have a big gap between the holes. I tried every possible ways and still can't figure it out
Does LV sell any no fuss traps I can purchase or elsewhere I can get replacement? Thanks

I have the same bag with the same issues. Sent it back to repair specialist at Chicagp Michigan Ave store. They told me all the bags are like that and there is nothing to do. I just use the bag and try to ignore the strap gaps.

I wonder why they make such a crappie traps knowing this is a common issue

I don’t have this bag but I‘ve used thin elastic bands to keep straps together on another bag. Since the strap on this bag is black, it would just blend in.

I have used the clear elastic hair bands to keep the end of a buckle strap in place. Or Fashion Tape. I am sure either Mautto or Mcraft leather on Etsy sells straps you could use in place of these, I have ordered from both and had good experiences.

The straps on the PSM does this, too. I just ignore it.

Super late to this thread but my montsouris does the same thing and the straps were also slightly too long on me. I saw Lala Shaw on youtube do a hack using drings from Amazon. The rings I had were a little large but I still think it looks better this way (although I'm currently contemplating selling this bag).

Also wanted to add that my sister-in-law has the natural leather version and her straps don't seem to have the same issue.
