Hi there just purchased a beautiful in excellent condition LV Monogram cherishes bag from fashionphile it has the slightest odor possibly the canvas or maybe just being in someone’s closet forever. Any solutions. It’s a very faint smell but would like it to not be there at all.

I've put in (scented) dryer sheets in a bag before and left them in there for a few days and kind of rubbed them on the inside of the bag gently and that helped the closet smell to go away.

I've also heard of people using charcoal packets and letting them sit in the bag to absorb the scent out.

Thank you it’s super gorgeous sac plat cerises murakami. The handles are still in perfect condition just have to get rid of that slight storage smell. Thanks for the tips.

You can put some baking soda in an old sock and leave it in there for a few days or I believe arm & hammer makes little odor eliminating balls. Congrats on scoring this piece, I’ve always loved it, share some photos if you get the chance!
