They are very light too. I really like that horizontal. But whoever mentioned the giant vachetta bottom -- that worries me too! Yikes -- time for the shining monkey big time.
I am also in love with the nomade vertical (they don't make it in horizontal). My SA was pressing me -- he wanted to put my name on one of them for Tuesday, but it seems fragile too. Plus the 2200 price is a heart stopper. lol

I tried on the nomade vertical and it is STUNNING BUT it had NO feet on the base to protect it (like you wouldn't be worried about it anyway ) where as the suhali did have feet to protect the base. I really loved the nomade vertical as the style is very retro looking. It also comes in nomade lockit pm which is smaller
