Money wallet - what fits?

Hello Bal fans! I really love the Bal long flap money wallet (as pictured below). They are no longer available new, so I’m looking at preloved and wouldn’t be able to “play” with it before buying. Can anyone who has one or seen one let me know if there is enough width to carry a small phone (iPhone mini) or lip balm? It looks like the gussets allow for some width but want to ensure it wouldn’t be so tight that it wouldn’t close.

I would typically just use it for cards and cash, but may occasionally want to use as a clutch. TIA

No to the clutch. It holds a lot as a wallet but there’s not enough width for a phone IMO.

Thank you- much appreciated. But sad…I was really hoping this would work. People say it works with the LV Sarah or Chanel long wallets but I guess that’s because they have two gusseted sections instead of just one like the Bal. I just love the look of the Bal so much!

I totally lied...I took some stuff out my my wallet and I can get my iPhone 8 into it. It's a bit of a push to do it up but I can. Sorry, I should have tried it before I said anything, I have so much other stuff in my wallet that I never dreamed it would fit.

It opens and yes it will fit a CC, almost precisely. Maybe that was planned…I’m able to fit two and get them out relatively easily. I have the graffiti continental wallet, I’m assuming they’re all the same.

My wallet arrived today and I LOVE it! So practical and beautiful!

As promised, for anyone else considering this style (preloved unless Bal starts making it again)…it fits a lot. As @muchstuff said, two credit cards easily fit in the front zip, which is great so I don’t have to open up the wallet to get at my most-used cards. Inside, eight more cards, bills and coins easily fit.

Then I added my husband’s old iPhone 6 in its case (bigger than my mini 12) and it easily fit! Then I even tried putting in super-small reading glasses and mini lipstick, and could still close the magnet! But it was too bulky and stretched out to use with all this.

I’m going to touch up the wear and use some protectant, and can’t wait to use it!
