Money transfer to store?

I would think that you would have to go to the bank to do it, you would have to have their bank account information and then they would have to confirm receipt, which could take a week or so. I hope it is a reputable store, maybe get in touch with someone in their finance department and not do everything with the SA?

I wish you well,

Bridget

I've done some wire (money) transfers with Prada stores in Europe. I have to physically go to my bank and authorize the wire transfer. HTH. Please be sure that you are dealing with a "real" store, and not an individual.

i tried to order a bag from bal milan a while back, they wouldn't take a credit card over the phone, i had to do a bank transfer which went wrong, the money was returned to me minus a significant fee .

Prada stores in Europe require a wire transfer from American customers. Mine go through smoothly, but it is a PIA. I'm hoping that Prada will soon do as other European stores, and just allow you to send a copy of your driver's license, cc and purchase order. And you are right, if something goes wrong with the wire transfer, you are still assessed fees.

weird! perhaps the bank stuffed up a number or the name of the account?
I too payed Bal Milan by bank transfer as they only accept AMEX and it went through perfectly...Strange that you got chargedwith a fee
