Money symbol/ Gucci stamp on Zipper heads..?

I know that this question belongs in the "authenticate this.." thread and I have posted it there but haven't had much luck and the posts just pile up.

I was wondering is it was normal for a Gucci zipper head to be stamped with "gucci" on the belly of the zipper.. along with this gucci stamp there is also a money symbol ($) on the tip of the head.

This seems so weird to me which makes me think this bag is not auth.. but maybe there is something I don't know..??? I have read all the threads I can to get info on this and I tried to google for more info and I just can't get anywhere on this.

Please help! I appreciate any and all responses in advance!

Mine has the same symbol too, I noticed it on my chain hobo when I first got it, and I got it from a Gucci store so I know its authentic, I thought it was a bit odd at first, but didn't worry too much about it since I bought mine straight from Gucci, but glad to know others are like that.

O yah and the Gucci zipper head on mine also has "Gucci" on the belly of the zipper.

Just checked my boston bag and I saw the same dollar sign.. then I checked my YSL downtown and it has the same dollar sign..

My Gucci purse zipper has the $ symbol too but I'm not sure mines authentic
