I have been searching for months for "THE BAG" for me. I think I might have found it in Gigi. Although for the price they are going for on ebay I need to make sure. I am 5'5 and am just afraid that it might be too big for me although I am presently carrying a dooney sac that is huge. I have been doing alot of research and am also considering the bleeker duffle but then I found the gigi and am really loving the pictures. Is is really heavy and does it go well on your shoulder as that is almost a must for me. I am looking forward to hearing responses from people who have her or had her and didn't like her. Thanks for your help.

There are a few threads about Gigi and size. Here's one link I found of a fellow tfp member who is your height. Hope it helps.

I have a Gigi as well and it is a substantial bag! It is a little heavy (it's alot of leather and hardware) even when empty, but it's such a gorgeous bag that the weight is not an issue with me. I have yet to use it as an everyday bag.

This link is also helpful...

I just got Gigi recently, and I love her! While she is definitely substantial in size, she isn't "thick" if you know what I mean, as she lays pretty fat against the body and is more tall and deep. Here are some modeling pictures, even though they are pretty crappy ones. I'm 5'7'' and I don't think she is too big for me!

I am 5'4" and have a black Gigi. I can take a pic and post it later if you need. Not sure if the pics above are enough for you. It's a big bag, but I still love it. It doesn't overwhelm me, but it is on the big side. It sits perfect for me. The pockets aren't in the way or anything.
