Hello everyone! Recently took advantage of Macy's F/F sale and bought the Kempton Small Tote in navy.

I'm just wondering what people thought of this nylon bag trend that seems to be popular. I was thinking of using it for days when I go to the grocery or when I volunteer at my daughter's school, for very casual days. I had the Longchamp but searching for things in that bag was trying.

As someone who owns a Selma, the Astor and Coach handbags, etc. it's very different to have a nylon bag, but practical too. I haven't gotten it out if the bag yet and wondering what to do. Hi I bought one of the Kempton large shoulder bags in turquoise and I will use it when DH and I go to our camp and also go fishing on our boat.

I have many MK bags Hamiltons, a Selma, Grayson's etc even some old leather Greenwich totes 😊 and I think this will be a good addition to my collection!

This bag as the long detachable strap for cross body and a shorter one that is permanently attached, so hopefully fairly versatile. I think it is definitely a step up from my Lesportsac medium tote I used the past few summers.

I just ordered the large Kempton in black and the Dooney Nylon shopper in black from Macy's today. Not sure which one I'm keeping yet, it's been a while since I've looked at having a nylon bag. On the plus side they are easy to care for.

I saw these for the first time today and I bought 2:


  1. large EW black
  2. med EW turquoise (deep/rich turquoise)
I have been eyeballing nylon notes lately and I really appreciate MK brand's pricing...it's such a welcome surprise from most brands.


MZ Wallace isn't sold up here and TUMI nylon/leather bags/totes are quite $ too (even at Winners or waiting for a sale).


I think the small flat MK trinket is adorable and I really appreciate the org pockets in all MK bags. This one is no different so I like it better than Longchamp Le Pliage.

I purchased a N/S Kempton in luscious pink, i think almost a month ago. I was browsing at nordstrom and saw it on sale. The only other nylon bag I have owned was a DNKY hobo and I liked it so much I kept reaching for it.

Hi there! Whilst I realize this is an older post I was hoping to see how your kempton is holding up? I bought one on sale from Dillards online and had it delivered to Australia but by the time it was delivered I found a lot of people had issues with the straps and bottom leather piece. It seemed straps began fraying within a few months of use. I've been listing it on eBay for a few weeks now (brand new) because I would rather sell it than have to deal with fraying straps and peeling leather as I would use it as an everyday bag. May I ask if you're still using your kempton tote and if it's still in good condition? I would love to use it as I think it's adorable, but not if it's going to fall apart! Thank you!

Hi! I am planning to buy a MK Kempton Tote. But I am confused which color to get :( Should I get Black, Navy, or Dusk :p What do you suggest?

The Medium Size is for sale in the Philippines for Php8,800 (around US$196). Is it expensive? Or just the same price in US? No longer available in the MK website that is why I was unable to check the price.
