I have to tell you about my most recent purchase! I have been on a quest to find a grey or gunmetal bag for a little while now. But I didn't want to spend a fortunte on one.

A few weeks ago, I saw the michael kors n/s astor tote in gunmetal at marshalls. I liked it, but i wanted to wait until after I went to the michael kors outlet to see if they had anything. (No luck) Then I had my appointment for the Nordstrom pre-sale, I wanted to do my shopping for the sale. Of course they had some that I liked, but most were around the $300 price point. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend that much on a color I may get tired of.:shrugs:

I decided to venture back to marshalls, hoping it was there.

Three weeks after I initially found it...... they still had it! They had two of these bags left. So of course I was looking them over to see if there were any flaws etc. And I noticed one was ticketed for $79.99!!!! The other was $149.99. I couldn't find any defects or damage to the cheaper one so I went with it. :yahoo:

After all this time that bag was still there and I got it for an even better price. I will post modeling pics asap! But until then, here is a link to one selling on ebay (not my listing).

Do you think that I will still be able to use this into the fall/winter or are metallic colors mostly for spring/summer?

I am so excited to use it! I don't have to worry if i get tired of the color, it doesn't hold up, etc. because it didn't break the bank!!!!

Congrats! Love the purse and that's a great price for it. I'm the opposite from you, I'd only wear it in F/W, not S/S since I wear darker colors when it gets colder out and it would work better for me that way. I think you could wear it year round if that's what you want to do :smile1:

Congrats! What a great deal on a great bag. It was truly meant to be for you. You can definitely carry a metallic bag in both F/W and S/S. I do! I think it's the perfect neutral. (I have the Michael Kors astor weekender in gunmetal that I use as my daily work bag and mommy bag on the weekends--ALL year long.) Enjoy!
