Michael Kors MK patent leather?

Anyone have experience with MK patent leather is it a nice texture in other words "not plasticy"? I'm considering the Lilly in Garden.

I adore patent leather and I recently bought the Jane in black patent croc. It's a great bag and I don't think it's "plasticy" at all. The Lilly is a beauty and I think that green is gorgeous!

I'm having second thoughts about the green now. Does MK do off-white (vanilla) patent leather bags, or even thinking seriously about the black. I usually steer away from black bags because I find them too ordinary, but patent is definitely not your ordinary bag.

I have a black patent Chestertown. It has held up well. I get lots of compliments on it, and I think patent is easy to care for.

I think MK does fabulous patent. I'm really not a fan of patent that looks like it has a heavy plastic coating on it. The MK patent is nice and shiny but you don't get that saran wrap feeling with it like you do with some brands. MK is the only patent I would buy.
