I vote Speedy as well. It's a classic and this MK--like many satchels in this style--is channeling the Speedy. It will hold up quite well. The coated canvas is vert durable and the vachetta will darken with use but is incredibly strong.

I've had my speedy about 3 years and still looks fairly new even with the little bit of patina on the vachetta. You can't go wrong with the speedy.

Speedy. It will last much longer than the MK. I also just don't like that MK bag.

In my opinion, it is always better to buy the bag that inspires others to replicate its shape and other details.

In this case, that Michael Kors bag is 'channeling' (to put it mildly) a speedy. Get a speedy. It will look good decades from now (if you treat it well) and will never be considered ugly, unlike that MK bag, which I daresay is well, not very attractive.
