Hi everyone, I am planning on buying the MK jet logo print signature tote, but as I was browsing the net, I came upon a similar tote but with zip top. I want to know how they differ size wise, however, I checked the the michael kors website and the signature to zip is not on it, only the one with open top si I can't check its dimensions.

Can anyone help determine the difference in their sizes, any photos or link for reference would be of great help. Thanks!

I think I can help you sort this out since I've just been through this very issue myself.

The only place that currently sells the zip top tote you are looking for is the MK Factory store - not the boutiques and they only got them in this week - they are brand new. I did a reveal - check out the link below. It costs $198 and measures 16 wide by 12 high. It's about the same size as the open top tote with middle zip compartment in the MK boutique stores. The boutique stores also carry a MACBOOK open top bag which is ginormous.

Macy's has a "Macy's Exclusive" version of the zip top tote but it has brown handles instead of the light color handles and is slightly smaller. I went to Macy's with mine to do a head to head comparison.

Whoops, you just said you went to Macy's. How is it in real life? Is there much of a difference with the materials used? Does the brown handle look good with the brown canvas body?

There is absolutely no difference in the quality - MK is very consistent with quality. The brown handles do look nice - I like the lighter ones only because it has a more LV Totally inspired look. The Macy's one was a bit smaller but nothing I would be too concerned about.

If you can get the Macy's one I think you will be happy with it. Just as an FYI - if you are buying from eBay I'm sure the Factory ones are going to start showing up there shortly.

When I bought my vanilla tote at Macy's I looked at the ones with the darker handles and they are smaller in size than the other logo totes. Check the measurements!

macys has a version of this bag that doesn't have a zip on top but it seems to be a little bigger then the zip version, and it looks more totally inspired with the lighter colors... i may go for that bag instead seeing how it has the same dimensions as my baby bag!
