Hello! This is my first time in MK forums. I usually post in the LV section. I never owned a MK bag but I am in love with the Hamilton. I don't know TOO much about them but I think it's the medium version I like.

I don't see it on sale online anymore and I think I read somewhere it's discontinued. Where can I find a black Hamilton with GHW? I live in Toronto if that makes a difference.

Also does it come in a even smaller size (in what colors)?

Hey Amy! You should check out the MK Hamilton east/west tote. That's the smaller version and they have several in gold hardware for the spring. Just google it and click the shopping tab. It will give you locations where you can find the bag close to you or order online :)

Hey, Amy! I second classicmj. The e/w should be a perfect size for you if you're wanting a something a bit smaller. There are GHW versions on the the Michael Kors website right now, I believe. The colors out right now are luggage, brown, tangerine, navy (might be sold out?), vanilla, and black. I may be missing one.

Just call around to the MK stores in Toronto (start with Yorkdale) - I'm sure it should be fairly easy to find one there. The Hamilton in Canada is $350 in the medium size. We only have one MK store here in Ottawa and I saw some with GHW there and it's nowhere near the size of Yorkdale.

BTW, I have 2 - the black with silver hardware, and the navy with gold hardware and am in love with them both. The Hamilton is a FANTASTIC bag!!!

I definitely saw the N/S Hamilton in black with ghw in the Ottawa store 2 days ago! I am sure you can get a hold of the e/w bag. I've got the N/S one in that colour/hw combo and I LOVE it. It is holding up really well with all of the snow&winter craziness. Good luck! :)

My DF is going to Chicago next month. Would it be cheaper to buy it there - the sales tax + the price difference? The CDN is still strong so hopefully save a few bucks!

YES!!!! There is at least a $50 difference and the sales tax will be at least half of Ontario. I got my medium Hamilton in Orlando last month and saved $100 - it was $268 there and $350 here and the sales tax was 6.5%.

After I did some searching - I realized I like the TANGERINE Hamilton in the medium size - I think it's M (it's on the website listed as $328) so I might get that one instead now! I wonder if I can call the Chicago store to get one on hold for me?

I actually called Orlando about 3 weeks before I went and did a charge hold (paid by credit card over the phone) just to make sure I'd get one. Not sure if they'll do a hold but they definetely do charge holds - I've done it twice.

The tangerine is gorgeous - I've seen it IRL.

BTW - ask about the price - the website seems to have some messed up pricing sometimes. I think the medium size should be $298 right now. I paid $268 but they put the price up to $298 after that. I think $328 may be a mistake.
