I recently purchased a MK bag from their outlet store in Vaughan Mills and I did not get one. Frankly it didn't occur to me to even ask for one since I've never owned any MK products.

My question is, do you have to ask for one? Also, do they simply not give them out at the outlet stores?

I bought a Michael Kors bag at TJ Maxx two months ago and I did not get a dustbag either. I asked the salesperson why, as there were other bags at the store (of other brands) that came with dustbags. The salesperson told me that only "some" bags were available with dustbags. I might be wrong but my guess is that some brands choose to remove dustbags etc. before making their products available to outlets and similar stores.

The MK outlet bags do not come with dust bags. It's the same way with Coach outet bags unless of course they are deletes. I don't know if they sell deletes at the MK outlets.

I have purchased several MK bags in the last year and recently 2 of them did not come with dustbags. They were purchased from Nordstroms and Saks. Do some MK bags not come with dustbags?

Some bags do not come with dust bags. The mono bag in my avi did not come with a dust bag an I purchase it from Macy's. I purchased the red RnR Hammy from TJ's and it came with one.

The question would then be, where can you get a dust bag? I just purchased a handbag from an outlet store in PA, and it did not come with a dust bag, it was not even an outlet version but was the Lifestyle/retail Hamilton the one with the lock. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated.

From both mine, and my moms experience, the Canvas bags don't come with dust bags. All of the leather ones do I think. You could always get a dust bag off of Ebay if you really wanted one, but I haven't seen them new anywhere. I just use a white pillow case for my few bags that didn't come with dust bags. You could always call up a MK store and ask them if you can buy just a dust bag, but I'm not sure if they sell them individually like that.

Sorry for the delay: I usually get an extra bag from TJs or Marshalls when I buy one. I ask the SA if I can have the extra bag (take out of another bag, bad I know) and they say yes.
