So i ordered a continental wallet from nordstrom since it was on sale. The shipping was super fast, however, the packaging is just ridiculous. There wasn't no paper packaging or anything. It was just simply the wallet put in a large zip lock bag! Like really? I attached a pic below for you guys to see how bad it was. Also, it could also be a returrn since the tag was removed and was just placed inside the wallet.

This is my first nordstrom order and I'm beyond disappointed. Has anyone had the same experienced? I like the wallet because it fits my phone inside. Just disappointed on how they packaged it especially since it is a designer brand.

Is the wallet damaged in any way? At least they put it in a plastic bag & not just thrown in a box completely unprotected. I'm sorry your wallet was shipped to you like this. Shipping from some of these stores are hit or miss. I've had items shipped to me & they were packaged beautifully. I've also had items shipped that were just thrown in a box. And some items were suppose to be new but were clearly another customer's return. It a quality control thing. You would think there would be quality shipping with a higher end item but many times it's not. I have not had a problem with Nordstrom's shipping but there's always a first time.

Seems like everywhere you order from, packaging is hit or miss. I don't care how expensive an item is, but especially if you're paying a lot of money, more care needs to be taken in packing these items. It's the store that loses out when the send out an item like this, it gets damaged and then they have to replace it once or twice more. I'm sorry your wallet arrived like this. I've had my share of bad experiences with ordering online that I really do try to avoid it at all costs anymore.

Is it otherwise in perfect condition? If so, call yourself lucky! I just received a Selma from Zappos that was completely bent out of shape. Had to exchange TWICE to get a perfect, new bag! It's ridiculous these companies allow this stuff to happen!

I agree! They should package it with care and atleast a little bit of effort especially if the product cost too much.

Also, do you think its acceptable to receive a used/returned handbag from michael kors website? I got a bag on "sale" and it seems like its been used or maybe a returned. The bag isn't wrap--like the handles and such, feet has some scratches and the tag is removed (was inside the pocket of the bag).

I guess its better off to buy in store or in person just so you know and can see what you're getting. But these bargains sometimes aren't available in stores.

Yes, I agree with Cdtracing. At least it was protected from scratching by placing it in the plastic. As long as there is nothing wrong with the wallet, I would be happy with it. The only part of packaging that is important to me is that it is in a box, and wrapped in something, period! lol! I usually tear the packaging to shreds because I can't wait to get to the good part. Enjoy your new wallet. Wish I could have seen it! lol!

If you bought it new and it is damaged, I would trade it for another one. There is no excuse for that!

If it is scratched & the ticket is off & in a pocket, chances are it's a return. I will send those back for an exchange for a new one if it's in stock. If it's not in stock & you really love it, then it would be up to you as to whether you return it. I've taken bags I've ordered back to the store & had them exchange it there after I have looked at & inspected what they have in stock.

Kind of tough. If it was a bag I just HAD TO HAVE and I got a good deal on it, I'd probably keep it as long as it didn't look lived in. Do you know if this bag is still in stock? Maybe exchange for a new one? A few scratches on the feet are about all I'd tolerate because those feet scratch the moment you set the bag down anyway (at least mine do). But if handles look worn, the leather creased or scuffed, whatever, it'd be going back.

I feel like it is definitely a return-the feet has scratches bad. I would return it or exchange it for a new one. But it was on sale, and according to their website all sales are final. I just dont think its acceptable to send something used or returned even if its on sale.

It was a good deal. It was on sale for 50% off. The leather has a small dent in the middle, but its not noticeable when the handles are down. Is there a way to remove the crease or dent on the saffiano leather?

I would contact their customer service & explain the scratches & how you do not believe this is new & is, in fact, a returned item. See if they will work with you on an exchange. It's worth a try.
