MK Robin Clutch in White/Black Leather/Calf Hair with Silver Hardware (Style: 30T4SRBC1H, $298)

I just bought this same clutch off of eBay. It is brand NWT and definetly authentic, however is it normal for the calf hair to have a slight odor? I'm thinking I just need to get it out and use it. But I wanted to ask someone that had the same clutch. Any feedback would be appreciated
