Hi ladies, I need some advice!

In February, I got a vanilla Gansevoort tote that I LOVE. I recently saw a woman with the same bag in python so now I am obsessing over that one as well:p... I think the overall functionality of the bag is perfect for my needs.

Would 2 bags in the same style be too much?! Is that normal? I think the python would be so worry free and easy to carry...help!!

I think on TPF having multiples of the same bag is perfectly normal! I have 2 Hamiltons and 2 Jet Sets. In Coach I have 2 Zoes, 2 Haileys, etc.

If a certain style really works for you and you really love it I see nothing wrong with having more than one of the same bag - and if you can get a great price - even better.

So in case you haven't guessed I say go for it!!

ETA: Michael Kors does the BEST python - I can't believe I don't have one yet.

I knew I could count on you Crissy! :tup: I think I feel it might be a bit conspicuous because I only have 4 bags I even use.

I am leaning towards getting the python Gansevoort--I just found out the hardware is silver thus making it totally different from my vanilla which has gold hardware, lol! And it is tough to find the exact bag to fulfill all my needs like this one seems to do..

I agree with crissy11 - go get her!
I have 2 Hamiltons, I've never had two of the same bag before, but they work so well for me. I'm glad I have them.
As for the Gansevoort, it is a FANTASTIC bag. I have the pleated version in black and it's another of my favorite bags.
If a bag works for you, fills your requirements for a handbag, I think having more than one is completely normal and highly recommended!
Make sure you show us pictures of your new python beauty! Can't wait to see (haven't see one IRL).

If I could find my beloved addison tote in the chocolate color at a great price, I would certainly buy another. I love this style. I say got for it-he does make lovely python bags.:smile1:

Omg thanks ladies! I appreciate it! I haven't seen them at TJ Maxx in python yet though! They have a couple on the bay but they are so $$$! Like double... I'll have to stalk TJ Maxx for the next few weeks then maybe break down and get one on ebay as a last resort.

Go for it - I do it all the time. I've got 4 large n/s hamiltons, 3 chain ID hobos, 2 Gansevoorts, and 2 Uptown Astor large shoulder totes.

I haven't seen the Gansevoort in python irl, but I bet it's totally gorgeous!!!
