MJ Peet or Parker?

Hello and Happy New Year!
I just purchased my first MJ - HEY ME
and it is the Peet in Maple.
It came down to the Peet or Parker for me too. The reason I chose the Peet was the snap clouser. The Parker has a zipper that opens the whole length of the bag to expose a totally open bag. You have to fuss a little to get the zipper back into the start of it. Sort of like I coat. I probably would have never closed it, leaving the bag and contents totally open to the elemtents and watching eyes. If you were in a rush, or emergency I don't think you could get the bag closed fast enough. I went shopping with my sister and good friend and we all had the same thoughts.
Yes, the Peet is a deep bag, but the light colored linning makes for easy finding of goods. Unlike my Kate Spade which has a dark linning and it is very hard to find things.
Now, I just have to get over the fright of using it on a daily basises.
