MJ help requested!!!

Hi! I've been a member for a few weeks now, but this is my first post. I'm a total bag junkie and so happy to find a group of people who share my same obsessions....

I was wondering whether anyone could help me out with some MJ questions. I have a friend who has access to the MJ employee sale and I'm trying to decide which bags to get. Unfortunately, I'm having a little trouble determining what these colors look like in real life:

Tomato
Amethyst
Butterscotch

I'm deciding between a Tomato, Amethyst, or Peacock Blue Venetia. I'm probably going to get a Butterscotch Stella (has anyone seen this IRL?) and maybe an aquamarine or brick red multipocket for my mom. Is the multipocket too heavy for a woman in her late 50's?

Sorry for all of the questions, but any help you could provide to help me make a decision would be greatly appreciated!!!

Sorry...can't help you with the colors, never seen those colors IRL. But if you're picky like I am, I'd try to see them IRL before buying. As for the "heaviness" of the MJ bags, specifically the multipocket, I believe it is abit heavy because of the suede lining and the hardware. I've found that almost all MJ bags tend to be on the heavy side. This is my collection which I consider abit heavy, but I'm use to carrying heavy bags....hope this'll help! In any case, what a great deal to have a connected friend.....if you can get pass the heaviness, the quality is fantastic...I love MJ!

My friend has the tomato and its gorgeous. I agree with pursemama about the bags being heavy. I don't own one for that reason.
