I guess my ? has been answered. It is really heavy. It is so GORGEOUS but heavy. 
I carried it for all of half an hour yesterday evening and my shoulder still hurts.
Oh well, I guess I could always sell it, but I am so bummed. I so badly wanted to like it - in every other way the bag is PERFECT.
