Hi everyone! I just realized I hardly mix gemstones. For example, if I’m wearing blue topaz, I try to stick to blue topaz. I maybe mix up pearls with diamonds, but that’s about it. Do you all mix gemstones? I feel like I’ve been limiting myself a bit.

i may mix stones that are in the same color family like with blue topaz i'd mix with blue sapphires but typically i don't because i don't color match my stones with my clothes, i tend to put color stones with opposite colors of clothing. I love deep purple with amber, or coral with emeralds.

I dont even pair my jewelry with my clothes but i do pair my earrings and ring like say pearl or diamond for the ears and diamonds or pearl for the hands. But i did wear tanzanites too for earrings and diamonds on my finger. I only wear one ring on each hand so i didnt mind either if its different stones. Not that i have much in my collection lol. Just a few and not safe box worthy

I dont mix gemstones often together either unless I feel they complement each other. If I have diamonds on one hand I'll stick with white gold and diamonds on that hand. But if it's yellow gold/diamond I like to mix and match with other stackable rings. I really love the look of an emerald and ruby stack tho bc it feels very regal to me :)
