Missing return items

Two weeks ago, I sent in an online return that contained four items, two of which were from the same order, with the third and fourth coming from different orders. The returns of third and fourth items were received and processed, but Burberry claims not to have received the first two, even though everything was sent in the same box. I'm quite stressed at the moment by how these items have apparently gone missing, and am worried that I won't receive a refund for them. Has this happened to anybody?
