Hey, ladies! I don't post here often but I just came to a sad discovery that one of the gold flathead screws on my flap bag have gone missing, causing the back to move and making it difficult to close. I am HEARTBROKEN. :/ I am being super careful right now considering, I use the bag daily. I came browsing on this site and forums to find that other members have had theirs gone missing and some of the lovely members had extras and sent them. I only need one. I was wondering if any of you have an extra screw to spare so I can replace it myself? I would be so thankful and it would mean the world to me.

    Thank you SO much.
    Marissa
  2. Still looking for anyone who may have an extra screw.
  3. Not sure if this is needed but here is a photo of the missing screw.

  4. You should bring it to the boutique.
  5. Late answer but want to post as future reference for others. I have a vintage Jumbo classic flap with a missing screw. I took it to Chanel as the local handbag repair shop wanted to charge for $65 for a screw! Chanel charged nothing and returned the bag to me in a beautiful dust bag and great packing.

  6. Agree with the others, take it back to the boutique. Same thing happened with my MIL's bag and they accepted it for repair.
