HI all,

I just missed out on a great ebay find - a like brand new Dior 2008 saddle bag THE color I wanted and because I am on a family trip and was going to pull the trigger once it got closer to going back so it wouldn't be left outside. I am completely broken up about it and it made me think,

Are there any missed opportunities that really hit you hard after the fact and did you ultimately get your bag down the road or did the desire for the bag sizzle out? I'm trying to believe what is meant to be will be...

Too many to name...and to bother to remember.

I’m sorry this happened. It always feels yucky when it does. But, there are always so many great bags that a new one will come around to make you completely forget the old.

So true, I cant help but kick myself but its not worth getting all bent up over Its just very frustrating because the inventory right now is low and so many super fakes on ebay. I will keep searching and the right one will come along!

Bottega Veneta marca punto treatment Veneta on eBay. Of course I sold something the next week so I could have bought it. I'm still kicking myself. Likewise a Balenciaga Riva Velo in black. Same situation. And it'll happen again, I'm quite sure...

I guess that's the thrill of the hunt sometimes we win and sometimes we miss out it can be very emotional lol, I love the Velo so cute and that trim detail just elevates it so much! I hope you can find the perfect bag! I set item alerts with item alarm for ebay so if a similar or comparable Dior pops up I'm on it!

I did regret not buying a vintage ferragamo bag I saw listed (for months) on a consignment site. Sod’s law - the minute I decided to buy it someone else just beat me to it :annoyed:
But it’s not a huge regret - there’s always something else to waste my £ on

I’ve actually hunted, found and bought 2 bags that I missed out on and eventually resold them. By the time I got back around to getting them, the thrill was gone. So, I tend to just shake it off when I don’t land “the” bag. Something else will come around that I’ll be happier with.

Yeah on to the next I suppose that really is frustrating right when you decide to pull the trigger.

That's probably a smart move then I will let it breathe for a moment and still see if I think its the one for me! I am afraid because the one sold was like brand new for a 2007 bag barely ever used, and even if I find the same one it wont be as new looking. But who knows time will tell.

Black Balenciaga City in perfect condition. They are hard to get used in Canada. I waffles because I had never paid that amount for a used bag before and lost it. Still kicking myself.
