Noticed the color difference? it is supposed to be a Etain.

Didn't even notice the defect until several months after purchase. Took months for H to send over a replacement. Wasn't too happy that it took so long when it was clearly a QC issue. Was hoping they'll compensate by offering a Kelly:biggrin: which of course did not happen. But pleased that it was resolved.

It almost looks like a combination of 2019 (I think?) etain and 2020 etain. Previous years’ etain color has had more grey while this year it has more brown. I wonder if they were mixing old stock leather with new leather.

It's from 2017 and yeah, the mismatched part does look more brown. Though the difference looks quite apparent from the photo, it isn't in person.
 
You carried the bag for several months before you noticed the color difference, then brought it to their attention and they replaced your bag. That’s great! What is the question?
