I need à beige/neutral bag. I usually prefer structured bags and was planning on buying a Mini Strathberry tote but now I've seen the Polene Numero Neuf, and it's made me wonder if I should consider something more relaxed for summer?

Have you watched any reviews on either of these bags on YouTube? I don’t have either of these, but the reviews I’ve seen say the Strathberry nano tote barely fits anything. The mini Neuf still holds a good amount.
Edited to add, I see you said “mini tote” and my brain interpreted it as the “nano” tote. I don’t believe there is a size called “mini”. But then it occurred to me you might mean “midi”, which is larger and holds more.

I meant Nano. I like teeny bags. As long as my phone fits, I'm okay with small. But if it's a true Nano, I don't want! Watching reviews is a good idea though.
Did you consider buying both bags? they're both gorgeous, and affordable. I consider both bags for myself, and will probably end up buying both.
I love both these minimalistic brands and they are my current favorites. My vote has to be for the Polene Neuf Mini, which is one of my most used bags.
What I love about the Neuf Mini, is that it is structured but also very soft and manageable at the same time. And it fits sooo much for a mini bag. In fact, I would call it a small bag, rather than a mini, in terms of capacity.
I'm not sure which size of Strathberry tote you are looking at, but what I can tell you is that these totes are very structured and they don't fit much. Also, I would imagine the opening and closing of the tote to be more difficult than the Neuf, where you just put your stuff in with one hand. Now, the opening of the Neuf Mini is small but once you get used to it, I think it's actually great because even when left open (like I do) it is very secure and comfortable at the same time.
Plus, the Polene grained leather is thick and luxurious, and provides durability whereas the smooth leather from totes would be more prone to scratches and wear.

I just purchased the Polene mini neuf yesterday and it’s GORGEOUS!!! I went to the store in Soho (NYC) because I wanted to see it in person first and bought it without hesitation. I bought the camel color which is a great neutral. The bag is made very well and looks just as expensive as my other luxury bags! I recommend the Polene.
I like the Polene better! I know it’s part of their brand identity, but I can’t stand the rods on the Strathberry totes.
