Hey guys! I am currently searching for the perfect minimalist bucket bag that is classic, good quality, and will last a long time as an every day bag. Size-wise, I would like it to be on the smaller size (but not mini), large enough to fit a full size continental wallet and possibly an umbrella/water bottle. I'm considering the Celine Small Sangle and the Angela Roi Angelou Mini Bucket. Does anyone have insight on these bags in terms of functionality, what it fits, and quality?

Also, any other suggestions of similar looking handbags would be great! I've been scouring the net trying to find this style of handbag, but it's harder than I thought. I am ok with $2,500 or under and does not necessarily have to be premiere if the quality is great. Thanks :)

It depends on what your minimalism looks like. I'd recommend the Louis Vuitton bucket bag, but if you're looking for something more under-stated Coach has made some gorgeous bucket bags in the past couple of decades.

Do you find it difficult to get in and out of, as in you have to untie it every time you need to open? Just curious! Something that I like about the above examples is that it's easy to access.

I don't tie the top tight, so it's easy access. I like that you can choose to leave it very open, or tie it tightly closed if needed.

Thanks! Yeah def understated, roomy, and easy access/large opening is what I was thinking. Another example of a bag I am interested in is the Celine Big Bucket Bag, but it's discontinued so I'd have to go the resale route which makes options limited. I just looked at the Coach Charlie bucket bag.....may have to try that one on in the store!

I just purchased the coach duffle 20! Super clean/minimalist, and it’s made in their nicer line (I think they’re calling it the coach originals now?). I got it in hunter green, but they have plenty of good colors to choose from right now! There’s also a bigger one available, and it’s well below your price point.

Oh, as an added note, the strap can be a shoulder strap or cross body depending on how you set it up.
The hunter green is so beautiful! I guess I have to make a trip to the Coach store now to check it out. I also love that the strap can be adjusted for crossbody or shoulder. Thanks for the suggestion!
