Hi everyone! I'm contemplating purchasing my first Mulberry bag and I can't decide between the mini or the small Zipped Bayswater. The mini seems to small but the small seems pretty large? Does anyone have any preferences/advice on which to choose? Thanks so much!

Same dillema here!!! I´m 5"2 and am looking for a bag that fits enough, but can´t be too big either. I´m thinking about getting the small (as it fits more) but I´m afraid it is quite large still...
Does anyone have experienced both sizes? Or pro and cons of each size?

I'm 5'3" so just about the same as you - I'm also leaning small because I tend to carry bags on the crook of my arm and the mini seems like it might be too tiny......the small might be too large with the long strap though - dilemmas lol. I've been googling a lot about them and found out that the small is about the size of the kate spade hayden and the mini is about the size of the kate spade small hayden - I have both of those bags but like both for different reasons - I gravitate towards the larger though - maybe I've just answered my own question lol. Which color are you considering? I think I want to get the oak but possibly black.............

I just bought the Mini Bayswater in Summer Khaki during Mulberry's sale! Even though it looks small, it carries quite a bit. I'm able to fit all my essentials in (slim wallet, slim comb, small sunglass case, phone, sanitizer, lip balm, small hand cream) with a bit more room to spare. I'm 5'2'' and I like the way it looks on me. I haven't tried/seen the zipped Bayswater so I don't have a comparison - but if you're someone who doesn't carry too much the mini should carry most if not everything you need.

Lol! Same! As I´d like it to be my daily bag, and I tend to carry a lot with me, I gravitate towards the larger size and both oak and black are favourite right now. Oak as it is such a beautiful colour and black for the obious practical reasons..and it looks chique too.. not decided yet as I like both of them so much!:panic:

I had a small once and sold it. It is pretty sizeable and always felt a bit awkward crossbody for me - kind of close to a Speedy 25 but lots of people love that size. Not sure if they have changed the strap but the strap being too long was a common complaint among people, and the reason I sold mine, so try on first if you have the opportunity. I'm 5'4 and the size of the bag plus long strap just created a very awkward crossbody situation. It was perfect for hand-held though.

Thanks for the reply - I do think that the size might be odd for crossbody. I think the mini one would be great for that but I am planning to mostly carry it hand-held on the crook of my arm so small might be better- I wish there was a store closer to me so I could go see them in person!

If you mostly want to wear it hand held or crook of arm, the mini might look too small... sounds like the small might be your best bet!

I love oxblood as a change from brown or black! It's a softer tone and I find it works well with greys, browns or blacks, and I especially love it with navy blue!
Enjoy your bags!

I´v read there were be some problems with the colour fading on the edges, is that right? Or is it something that happened in the past? Do you think the colour holds well?

I agree that there can be some colour fade.
I usually give my bags & purses a small polish with coloured Collonil cream before packing them away after use, so this isn't too much of an issue for me. I have a smooth oxblood leather purse that is used regularly and it still looks good after a couple of years. I had quite bad colour fade / worn areas on a grained Mulberry Amberley , but I used a colour touch pen and the same Collonil cream after use, and it seems to be keeping it's colour now!
I'm rather fussy with my bags but feel it's worth it to keep them looking good!
