Mini vs regular Lily

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to add a Lily to my collection. I was thinking of getting the regular sized lily in black glossy goat and gold but have now seen the mini! I love the style of the Lily with the chain strap and classic style.

I would be using the bag mainly at the weekend, going out and if I need to pop to the shop.

Does anyone have either of these bags and if so which one would you recommend out of the two? If you have a mini what can it hold?

Any thoughts and opinions appreciated! Thanks

I have reg lily and mini cookie lily - which is smaller than the current mini lily - and rarely to never use the mini. It’s just too small for my everyday needs.

I had two mini Lilys and one regular. The two minis have now been passed on to new homes as they were gathering dust in the wardrobe. I used the minis on days/nights out that only required my phone (iPhone 13) bank card, lip gloss and car key. Like with Shaz, the mini is too small. Cute, but not big enough for me. My regular holds my phone, Darley purse (larger version) lip gloss and car key.

Thanks for your replies. That’s really helpful. The mini is really cute but I think the regular will be a better size for me. I like to carry my phone, card holder, keys, lipstick, hand sanitizer, basically all the essentials! I think the regular will hold these and a little bit more. It’s such a beautiful bag

I recently tried on the Mini Lily and it was too small for my needs, although very cute. Even if I'd only use it going out, it's not a good idea for me to have a bag that won't fit my phone. Also, being 5'10 didn't help; it just looked silly. Shame really, because the regular Lily is a tad too big for my taste for an evening bag, but I may have to live with that if I want a bag with a chain that has entwined leather and chain that isn't Chanel.

Am I going crazy or have Mini Lily prices dropped??

I swear they were £650 a few weeks ago and now they all seem to be £595!

I noticed this too and double checked! I’m guessing they might not be selling many at £650 and have dropped the price slightly to try and increase buyers.
