Hi all,

371D1ED7-15D0-4680-8913-3CC5F56DAB0B.webpLooking for some advice to help me make a decision on these two watches mini tank vs. small two tone panthere

Some background I’m a mom of two small boys and looking for something I can wear everyday (grocery/daycare pickup). The other watch I have at home is a Rolex lady date just two tone (passed down from my mom) but I don’t wear it because it has an aftermarket diamond bezel that’s too flashy for me!

This is so tough because both look amazing on you! 😍 I agree that the Mini Tank is more casual (but still sophisticated) and I personally love it more than the Panthere, so I would lean toward that one. I also personally prefer single-tone Cartier watches to two-tone and feel like the Panthere looks best and is most wearable in solid stainless steel, but that’s just me. 🤷‍♀️

Does one feel more comfortable and potentially easier to wear to you? I used to think leather straps were much more comfortable than bracelets, but honestly I think my Datejust is every bit as comfortable as a leather strap, and I think the Panthere bracelet would be super comfortable as well.

Is one easier to read (if that matters to you)? The dials are similar, but I think the Tank is a hair smaller … and maybe harder to read? Not sure if this is a factor for you, or if you’d be wearing it more as a bracelet/accessory and checking the time on your phone.

Honestly you can’t go wrong with either one (I have both on my wishlist, too! 😇) — good luck deciding! 💙

Thank you really struggling to make a decision but I’m actually terrible at telling the time on a watch and probably would glance at it but if I needed specific time my phone 😅

Then, why not consider a bracelet or something else instead? ;)

I love watches, but for several years have worn bracelets and used my phone for the time

Mini tank. Low key there is something luxurious about it. Perhaps it's its size or it's delicate band I'm not sure. You can always buy a bracelet later if you want to jazz it up.

I vote for mini tank! I have it and love it, feel like it's not too flashy. It's very small though so I don't use it for telling time...

Both watches look very nice on you but I would suggest going with the metal bracelet since you’re a busy mom of two boys. Since you intend this to be your everyday watch, a metal bracelet is quicker to put on and go, and comparatively carefree. I have a small two tone tank francaise and also the small tank with the black leather strap. I love the look of the regular tank with leather strap but despite that, the convenience of the metal strap tank francaise wins me over every time and I end up using it more often. It also sits better on my wrist than the leather strap one but that could be because my wrists are small (or maybe the leather strap needs to soften with frequent use).

They both look lovely on you! That said, I think the TT Panthere is the sensible choice, while the mini Tank is more chic and unique. TT would go with all your other jewelry, metal bracelet is more carefree, and the Panthere is a beautiful (albeit very popular) watch. I have to admit I've tried on the TT Panthere many times thinking it's the perfect watch for me because it ticks all the right boxes - and somehow every time I see it on my wrist I don't like it very much. The SS, all gold, and SS/RG with diamonds versions are prettier to me for some reason. But if you love it, you should go for it! I think it suits you purpose more.
