Mini Reveal in dusty pink/ nude....but is the packaging normal / standard ?

Hi everyone,

So I finally got my hands on this lovely GG marmont in the color I’ve been dreaming of. I lucked out and was able to purchase it when it became available online for less than 10 minutes.

So the package arrived yesterday. And here it is....

So here is where I started thinking, “Really?” .... this is how the purse was packed.

It was wrapped in thin styrofoam with masking tape that wasn’t even “fresh”. It’s like someone just taped it, just for the sake of. Really, Gucci?

It didn’t even come with a dustbag. So I called customer service and told them about the way it was packed, and the missing dustbag, and they said that they are sending a dustbag my way.

With that out of the way, may I present my new Marmont small shoulder bag in dusty pink.

It's beautiful! I can't believe they forgot the dust bag though, that's rather sloppy. Glad they're sending you one!

Yeah I would have my doubts too. I don’t have a huge problem with styrofoam because i’ve has HE bags just come in layers and layers of paper, but they could have taped it neater, and not with ugly masking tape. Also the lack of a dust bag would have ticked me off too.

I’m glad CS is fixing the dust bag issue, I hope you love your bag!!

Yes, definitely get the dust bag. The other packaging is completely normal. It is the protective packaging that is used for shipping so it looks like you received a brand new, never opened by anyone else bag. I had the same experience when purchasing my Marmont backpack in Italy... never opened previously bag came in that same styrofoam packaging. Your bag is a beauty, enjoy it!
