Mini Reissue Black or Beige

TPF'ers please help me make a decision

Went in to get the black mini-reissue but ended up coming home with the 23 P Beige. As much as I like this color I am torn because black is my safe color and I rarely branch out into other colors.

They didn't have a black mini re-issue but I was able to look at the next size up and found the leather to be really dull and flat...so that didn't really appeal to me.

Should I keep this? (all my other Chanel bags are black)

I will go with black. All my Chanel are Black except red coco handle and I don’t mind adding another black Chanel in the future. I even have 2 black boys, just different sizes. But maybe that is just me who doesn’t want to take risk of color transfer, dirt, etc..
The most important thing is follow your heart. Good luck on deciding.

I'd pick the black; particularly because I saw the 23p beige 2.55 yesterday and the colour was too close to that of foundation.

If i remember correctly, the 19A mini beige reissue stands out way better than what you're holding to now.

Personally, i dont think you should settle if you're doubting it. There was once i only buy black bags. And you should stand by it if you love black bag.

I love black but think that is a beautiful bag, it’s a great versatile color!

If the beige color is rich, dark caramel then it would be easier to style. I find it hard to style with that light beige color. I have a similar light beige mini bag and whatever I wear, the color is too light of a beige shade it looks washed out especially in picture. If you’re doubting it, I’d say return and wait for your prefered shade.

Thank you everyone, I will be taking it back and will wait for the black. Like it has been said many times before if I have to ask then I am second-guessing myself and best to return and wait for the black.

I like colors in general. But somehow black reissues stand out more. The style itself calls for black.

The beige one has been returned. They did have a black one today which was brand new in the box and I almost purchased it but when I was trying it out I noticed that that flap was creased so heavily almost flattened and I was not sure if that was normal so didn't purchase it. Is it normal for the flap to be creased like that?

If the bag was flattened and the top part of the flap was pointed it is normal. They compact/flatten the bag when in transit to the boutique.
