Mini Preston - is it too Small?

I am considering a new mini Preston in the mandarin color for a fun summer bag. But am concerned about the size. I carry a Madison skinny wallet, the kind that is 7.5 inches long by 4 inches. Also a pouch for lipsticks but nothing really too much, at least most of the time.

How has anyone's experience been with the mini Preston? Have you been happy with the size or is it too small for you?

I'm very happy with the size. I mean, I wouldn't mind if it were an inch bigger, but it holds a surprising amount. Once I downsized to the soft wallet, everything fit except for my large pill box. Well, the pill box fits too, but then the top bulges weirdly. I carry a sunglasses case, 2 card cases, both a small and large coin purse, phone, keys, chapstick and eyedrops.

It was too small for me but I think I carry more than you do. I use a full size wallet, small wristlet for cosmetics, checkbook, pen, lotion, gum, keys and my phone. I like to have a little extra room too. And I don't like having to arrange stuff in my bag. That was just me though - a lot of people find it to be plenty roomy!

If that's all you carry, mini p is definitely the right size. I'm usually surprised how much some smaller bags can actually hold (like the mini saff satchels).

I got the mini in bright mulberry. Honestly, I wish it was a bit longer and wider. I carry a full size zip around wallet, a small wristlet, checkbook, keys, prescription bottle, lipstick kept in a baggie, a thin pen case and a monthly planner and a few bank books. It's too tight for all of it. I had to take out the small wristlet, and I don't believe they'll be room to throw my cell phone in there kept in a Coach phone case. I should've went with the bigger Preston. But on the adorable cuteness factor, I love it. Just about all of my bags are satchels and at least 12 inches in length which is perfect for all of my needs.

I've been pretty happy with the size of my pale lemon mini. I use a wristlet, I hate wallets. It holds that, my phone, keys, work badge, and inhaler, plus whatever clutter I happen to stuff in there. I'm pretty sure the regular size would be way too big for me.

I'm eyeing that white with blue edgepaint one too. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but Macy's is having a F&F sale this weekend.....I just might.

I love that one too! I'm going to keep to having only one for awhile to make sure I don't get tired of the size. I carried mine today. I've been using the phone pocket for my phone. I think it is stretching it out so I didn't want to use it but I like the convenience and it gives me just a little more room inside. Today I took my glasses case and keys in and out several times, and pulled out my card case and accessed my wallet very easily. I didn't have to take everything out to reach something like I often have to with small bags. I'd have to do that if I needed any of the things at the bottom of the bag, but I put the stuff I use least down there. So I'm still pretty happy with the size. The top tends to bulge a little and I have to push it back into shape when I zip it up. I usually keep the zippers at the top. If I know I'm going to want to get in there soon, I leave the top two inches or so open.

I have wondered the same thing. However, I'm not worried if it will fit my items inside, I'm afraid it will look like I am carrying my daughters purse. Does anyone have mod shots with the mini who is 5'7" and a size 12?
