Mini pochette coating issue?

I just received my mini pochette and was super excited to open the package. First thing I noticed was that it was pretty dull (and super soft - if that makes sense). I haven’t purchased an slg in a few years so I’m not sure if that’s the way it is now. I have attached a picture of my mini pochette and my PA. Hopefully you can see the difference. Is this normal? Thanks!

It’s normal, there are different types of canvas, some more flexible and some more stiff depending on the item.

Yup very normal, just newer updated canvas. Thats why some people prefer to go preloved route for the older / different canvas.

I see the difference in the canvas textures but it looks good to me.

Looks good to me. Canvas on key pouches are stiffer compared to pochettes to ensure durability due to the nature of the product, more wear and tear.
