Mini pochette accessoires, which one would you let of?

Hi, dear tpfers,

I'm having a hard time deciding whether I should let one go?
I got the Christmas limited edition in 2020 first and just got the other classic one on the LV website recently.
I think it was like a FOMO at the time I purchased the second one because it was never available LOL.
When I saw it with the green light, I forgot everything and jumped on it. It was more 200 euros expensive than my 1st one (from 350 euros to 550 euros)

I love the style and use it as my wallet and I use the non-LV gold chain to make it crossbody.
I was always afraid that the paint on my first one would peel off and I somehow need a backup.
However, I feel it's a bit redundant.

I just need your input here.
Would you sell one? And if the answer is yes, which one would you let go of? :annoyed:

Some years back, I was using the mini pochette as my wallet too. It was the mini lin version and after some heavy usage, it looked kinda wore so, I decided to buy a new because I love it as a wallet. The price then was around the 350 euros equivalent and the second piece I bought also had a price increase (but PI was around additional 10-15 euros more than 350 euros). So, I can understand why you would want to buy a new piece. But the price different is quite huge now. For my situation, the older piece is quite wore out so I felt it was worth it to get a “replacement” as I like it being a wallet has it has a smaller compartment for coins and an all-in-one main compartment for notes and cards.
Noting that your piece is relatively new… price is so much more expensive too! You might wonder if you got it out of FOMO. I can’t advise much because I would sometimes be in the same situation like you! Maybe ask yourself would you be using the second piece for a “catch-all” pouch in your bag instead? There are many many fellow mates here that has multi mini pochette in their collections and I’m not sure if they are able to use all at once too. Other than the mini lin versions, I have one more mini pochette in DE. Honestly I don’t use much of it now because my bags are getting smaller. However, I cannot bear to sell it off either now that it has increased so much. I honestly wouldn’t have bought the mini pochette at the current price and have it sitting there idling without a purpose. I bought the DE one at slightly under 330 euros many years back. Just know that the prices would only go up higher and if you ever need another mini pochette, it will be at the higher price or more.

I think what's making me hesitate to keep is the price difference between these (350 Vs. 550 euros)
It seems huge for now.

BTW I'm thinking about what could be the price in 2-3 years after several increases like Pochette accessories (NM) that came to 950 from like 400 euros. That make me more hesitant to sell too :annoyed:

My mind thinks of longevity when it comes to LV these days, especially with these asinine prices. What will it look years from now and will I get tired of looking at the same pattern? I try to stick with the classics as much as possible. I have a lot of mini pochettes but sold my most expensive one yesterday which was the digital blue. Not sad to see her go since I never used her but not trying to hold on to items I don’t use just because it’s pretty. I’d keep the classic version.

I have three (mono, DA, DE) that I bought in 2020 and I am priced out now. TBH, they do not get daily use with me, as I go through phases where I do use them and rotate them and other times I don't use them at all. However, I do find them useful and worth having.

I wouldn’t keep both. I have two mini pochettes and both are limited edition, but one is in monogram and one is in DE. I sold my monogram zippy coin purse when I got my monogram Transatlantic ZCP and I haven’t regretted it for a second. It certainly wouldn’t do any harm to hold onto both for a while longer though, since prices will only increase. You’ll certainly have no issue selling either in the future if you choose to do so.

I'm just curious what will be the price of the Mini PA in the future with the potential price increases.

I would come back to see this thread later. It could be an amazing reference on how price has increased :biggrin:
