I take back my previous statement. my son just got home from school and I tried his s6 edge in my mini. it would fit in there without a case or a very thin one. HTH

If you have a "naked" phone or one with a thin (and I mean THIN) case then yes, just barely. If you have a decent bumper case - the type that actually help to protect the phone - then no.
