Mini Lou all black

I just received my mini Lou in all black and I love it ! However I am very worried about the wear and tear on the black hardware. To the point I am thinking of exchanging it for silver. I just feel like the all black is more casual, which I like, compared to the silver.

I am definitely more of a jeans and sweater girl if you know what I mean.

Is the black wear and tear really as bad as I have been seeing ?

I’m worried about the same thing, but I’ve seen a lot of people on the forum say that it shouldn’t be an issue. I’m stuck between the black or ghw as my first designer bag. If you could include some pics that would be so helpful!

i dont have the all black version, but i have the silver version. All i can say is that bag is very casual in silver too. im also a jeans, converse hoodie kind of girl and i love the mini lou for that same reason. I personally find so black hardware less casual, but to each their own lol

I believe there was an issue with the chain strap on earlier versions of the loulou where the color had chipped. I only own the regular size Lou with the black hardware on the logo. It looks good still as does most of the bag. It will be going in for repair for the strap holder.

I called ysl and they said the all black is the most delicate since the enamel can scratch and chip. They recommend the silver or gold for a more care free bag
So I will be sending this one back and getting the silver.
