Mini loop in calfskin

Does anyone have the newer model of the mini loop in calfskin with the gold accents? The mini loop is the exact type of bag I’ve been looking for, but the wear and tear on the corners of the original lambskin version seems awful from what I’ve seen of people posting here. I also had a lambskin weave wallet and it held up terribly (and I’m not rough on my luxury goods), so I told myself I’d never get lambskin from bottega again. Anyone know if the calfskin version holds up better?
