Mini Kelly or small Bolide in green for s/s?

I’m torn and need you advanced help .

I want a smaller green bag for spring and summer, and have the MK in a few green colors (as well as white/very light grey) on my official wishlist in my local boutique. As everyone know, you never know if or when it arrives.

I could also see a smaller Bolide in the same colors to fill the gap in my collection, and would like a Bolide in my collection someday down the road. The waiting time might be shorter, or I might even find it quite fast with a reseller or personal shopper.

I would probably not want two green bags though, and would probably feel stupid if got offered both in about the same time.

I need a simple goal here as for what to reach or go for; should I take whatever is offered first in the specs I like, and let the other design go, or just passively wait for the MK, no action taken for the Bolide. Or just take both, if offered, hoping it’s not the exact same color.

I hope I did make some sense…

Disclaimer: I have 2 green H bags of the same colour (Swift and Vache Country).

Choose a green and even leather before you decide, IMO, different greens give off completely different vibes, even close greens. For instance I love Bambou, but I've turned down Vert Vertigo (Swift), Comique (Togo), Granny (Clemence) and Cactus (Togo) and not because I didn't want another bright green bag. I'd be happy with so many H dark greens, some blue-greens (although I prefer green-blues) but Vert Fizz and Vert d'Eau would kill me (not in a. good way).

Also, if you know you only want a green MK, just get a green MK.

The Bolide 25 and mini Bolide are both more practically useful bags than the MK (I have all three) - for one, the Bolides easily fit almost any phone IN a case , and getting a Bolide should not affect getting a Mini Kelly Sellier.

So I think the q is:

- Would you wear two green bags? H makes a lot of greens and as PT notes it's quite a range. If not then change the color of one of these bags.
- Which bag would be your often-worn spring and summer bag? The Bolide seems both easier to get and more practical.

If I were you I'd get a green Bolide now (if there is one in production that you like), and ensure your wished-for MK specs align with that addition to your collection. Then, when your MK arrives, you won't feel duplicative.

Thread that resonates . I am also wanting a green crossbody bag - and only have a bambou GP TPM VC leather .
I would probably grab the bolide now as QF has pointed out - fits iPhone and such a useful bag . Then change the MK color on your wishlist .

My next personal question - I’ve seen both vert yucca and vert comic but different times ( traveling ).
I’m a little bit liking vert yucca more .
Which green color were you thinking of ?

How about considering a BOLIDE in another color (if the boutique or reseller have a color
that you might like) & be patient & wait for the MK in whatever shade of green you will be offered,
You will have at least one bag that you can wear & enjoy, JMO

Vert Comics would be a great pop, slightly to cool (for me) but a really special, Modern green for a small bag. Yucca is a bit softer, slightly warmer and very wearable. Both would be nice.

I would put both on wishlist and get whichever one comes first and then get the other one in a different color. Assuming you want both style of bags in your collection eventually.

I adore greens and have 3( though one is technically a yellow: Jaune Bourgeon, but it’s more like an acid yellow, so I consider it as a green ), so I think a MK and a mini Bolide in different greens serve different purposes, provided that you love green and don’t mind multiples in this color family.

Green is my favorite color. My greens are Vert Comics MK in Chevre and Vert Verone Mini Constance in Evercolor. Since my Connie is in GHW and more of a jewel tone, I use it all year round and it’s great for evenings, too.
My MK came n October last year, so I haven’t carried it much yet, but I got it as my spring/summer crossbody pop. My Bourgeon is also a crossbody bag (Mini Constance again, as this is my favorite style), btw.
I think the MK and the Mini Bolide are different enough to have both.

Vert Comics is a gorgeous pop, almost like a neon version of Minthe, which is one of my favorite colors.

I have a “grass green” bolide with palladium hardware- it has an outer pocket. No crossbody strap. It’s lovely- but I rarely carry it! Should probably find her a new home but she’s sooo beautiful!

I cannot be so logical lol. . .If you see an amazing green bolide that you love, go for it. Then adjust your MK preferences accordingly. I don’t see a problem with having multiple green or blue shades. . .
