Hi so I recently purchased this gorgeous pink mini flap 24c . Actually this is my first Chanel light colored bag, I have light colored Bottega though.

Anyways I usually wear black clothing like cotton t shirts, sweatpants etc. That’s why I really thought pink was a good idea on black since the color will pop more.

But I’m only finding it now that there’s an issue on color transfer so I kinda regretting my purchase. I tried researching that some black clothing does not transfer.

Any advice on what color or clothing material I can wear to avoid transfer .

TIA

Hi, your bag is beautiful. No regrets.
Stay away from dark denim. If you wear jeans, google vinegar rinse , that will seal the color.
I wear tons of black, make sure your pants won't leak dye. Most fabrics will not. If you wouldnot sit on your sofa with a fabric, then don't wear it with our bag. I wear pointe knit pants all of the time and never had any tranfer on Chanel pinks. GL and I love the black hw, I want it.

Thank you yeah it’s really beautiful. A friend told me that as long as the clothing is washed for a couple of times already then the black will not transfer . Noted in dark jeans I don’t wear them as often

Agreed with your friend. The black tops/pants shouldn't have any problem as long as they've been washed. The only problem I had before was dark denim materials.

Most black outfits are color fasted which means they won't leak color from the fabric. But even so, I recently found out my expensive black Paige and 7 denim jeans are not, so one of my white bags (not Chanel) got some color transfer which I wiped off immediately with baby wipes.

You never know, just be careful. And try to wear light colored clothing more with this bag. After all it's lambskin too.

Carry it in great health! It's beautiful.
