I would love to buy the Mini flap bag from the summer 25 collection in color silver with silver/goldtone hardware for an elegant evening event. However, as it is much more expensive than the mini flap bag in other colors, I am wondering wether the intended purchase is worth the price? It is not THE classic handbag in terms of color and style, so I want to make sure that it won‘t come across as outdated in a few years time? The color is special and I intend to wear it for many years to come only for special occasions. What do you think? Should I buy this color or go for a more classic one, like white or black?

Perfect evening and special occasion bag! Better than a white or black. Only you know if it's 'worth it' but I think it's lovely and will not look outdated anytime soon.
It's a novelty! I personally don't want a collection of only "classic" pieces, I love statement items and speciality/seasonal items as well.
It's only worth what one is willing to pay for it! If you'll get wear from it, I'd say get it and don't worry about the classic label.
