Mini Dior Book Tote Phone Bag

Hi all!

Having bought the Dior book tote in medium a few months back I've really loved using this bag. From the gorgeous embroidery and stitching to the practical size (especially for travel) I've used it fairly frequently. Now I'm looking to get something in mini - I almost pulled the trigger on the mini Dior book tote (below left) until I saw the Mini Dior Book Tote Phone Bag in hazel (see pic below right). I love the hazel colour in the toile de jouy Since I've always used mini bags more as a day to day I know I'd use either bag daily. My question is has anyone already bought the mini phone tote? I'd love to know your thoughts on this style, as I haven't been able to find many reviews on it compared to the mini book tote. Thank you!

I don’t own it but I love the look of the hazel mini. I’m very tempted to get this.

I have it and I love it (in the navy oblique pattern), although I have only brought it out once. It fits a cardholder, my iPhone, and my keys. It would probably also fit my lip gloss as well.
I LOVE the straps and think the cell option is gorgeous and practical. You can only fit a few more things in the mini tote bag itself, but there are no straps with it, which would have driven me crazy.

The hazel mini is just so pretty and I'm definitely leaning towards that. They don't have any in stock online so I'm going to ask around the boutiques in London...fingers crossed I find one! Let me know if you end up getting one

Hey thanks for your reply, that's really helpful to know. I wouldn't need more than what you said fits inside so I'd be perfectly happy with the size. I'm also leaning towards the phone tote for the crossbody option - handheld wouldn't be practical for a busy day out running errands. I also love the navy oblique pattern If I can't find the hazel I'll definitely end up getting that. I'm glad you love it though and I'm sure you'll end up using it lots (I know I will when I get mine!)

That’s so exciting. I also had the same issues as you with being interested in the bag but no reviews. I can’t wait to see which one you end up getting and don’t forget to post some pics and a review of what you think of it.

It's been so hard since there are no reviews anywhere yet as you say. If/when I end up getting it I'll definitely post a review and pics on here

Ahhhh....a lot of luxury houses are making these tiny shopper bags. I see them quite often. But you have to make sure it fits your needs. To me, a mini bag has to fit my phone, keys, card holder.

How are you liking your bag? Do you use it often? I kinda regret not getting anything from the black and white plan de paris motif but I see they still have some white and black twillies and now the white and black water bottle is back in stock so I am debating buying something. And now there's the hazelnut plan de paris mini book tote phone bag which is has been on my mind ... it is sooo sooooo cute but it is pretty pricey for a small fabric bag with no closure. Le sigh, maybe I should just get the hazelnut card holder but I would have preferred the card holder in white and black.

I don’t love it and don’t have the need for anything smaller than my mini Evelyne or a Chanel mini. These bags are getting so small they really aren’t functional. I wish they would make these the entry level bags for the brands - then we probably wouldn’t even want them. I guess I just don’t reach for it.

Oh no! But it's so cute!!! Yeah the size concerns me because I don't tend to reach for my mini bags. I am switching over to a smaller phone because of that.
