Mini Bennett opinions

Hello all ,

So my hubby and I are a waiting family for adopting a newborn. So we’re hoping we will be picked soon. From what I’ve been told my diaper bag will be my new purse most days. So I’m looking for a smaller purse that will fit in our stroller and I can take with me to work. I was thinking a crossbody but , I hate when my stuff is not organized so I’m thinking a mini Bennett might be up my alley.

I wanted to get some opinions on this bag. I’m thinking a solid black or brown is what I will choose. For reference I do need the bag to hold the following :

Full-size wallet
Glasses case
Hand sanitizer
Small ibuprofen
Keys
And cell phone.

Those are my must haves so it has to fit at least those things.

I don't think it's very easy to get in the mini Bennet. The mini Emma or Kelsey might be better for easy access. If you don't mind slightly larger size I think Leah is a great option!

ARe you able to try one in person? My oldest daughter owns one, it holds a fair bit considering it's overall size but again depends on how much roominess you like in a bag.

I own one (actually I have four) and I love it. I carry a full size wallet, a wristlet, my sunglasses case, chap stick, mini Kleenex, key fob for my Jeep and mu house keys and phone. I find it works for me. I find the phone a bit awkward because it doesn't fit in a pocket so I just slip it in between my wallet and wristlet for protection.

My mom has a mini Bennett and she has complained to me it's too small. She usually carries an eyeglass case, car keys in a pouch, full wallet, cell phone, hand sanitizer, Kleenex travel size, cellphone charger. She can fit those things but said it's hard to take her glasses or cell phone in and out.

She got one made from the coated canvas and with daily use hers is already cracked/chipping in places. So based on her experience (especially with a baby around) it seems like the mini Bennet might not work for you.

I'm not sure if you want crossgrain or not (I'm guessing it might be the best with kids) but I think the outlet has lots of other crossgrain crossbody options of a similar size. I think the Minetta has dividers/pockets inside as well as the large Cassidy so those might be a way to organize your stuff. Good luck!
