Mini bags are trendy now?

I just turned 40 and that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. After years of totes and shoulder bags and hobos and satchels, I LOVE cross-bodies for their ease but I just can't seem to grasp the mini concept, though I LOVE how they look. Help me ladies! Are you in love with your mini bags? Regrets? Go for it?

I've been obsessed with mini bags forever. To me, they're incredibly freeing. It's nice to be hands-free and without pain. That said, my lifestyle is conducive to carrying them, so they really work for me.

I'm not into actual mini's but I do like smaller bags now than a few years ago. I tend to go for the size labeled "medium" or "regular" in various brands. I am taller around 5'7" so I think an actual mini looks too small on me. I will still carry my old large hobos or totes now and then, but I carry much less (guess I didn't really need all that other stuff before?) so the bag seems so huge now!

Smaller bags for me but not minis.

I think they suit a cute, glam or formal look whereas I'm a bit more 'undone'

tho the trend is still mini (for now) which has been going on for quite some time, the bigger size is coming back with a vengence

i never went along with the mini trend or trends in general, though. what important to me is to buy the item which is practical and suits my needs ...for handbags, the occasion that I would wear them.... so my advice is to choose a size that would suit you and the occasion best so you get more use out of the bag

one thing to consider - different bags seem to look better in a certain size so somthing to think about when choosing mini size over the regular size
and i would not buy a style or design simply it is a "mini"

Depends how mini. I don’t carry a lot to begin with. So Gucci disco or LV Alma bb work fine with my normal wallet and stuff. Smaller size like pochette size I rarely wear—sometimes on vacation to dinner.
