I know the functionality is slightly different between the two, but I would love to add another Goyard to my collection this year. These 2 are the strongest contenders. I am not really looking to buy the bag for a particular function, but still want it to be practical if you know what I mean... Here are my thoughts about the two bags. Please feel free to share yours and your experience.

Mini anjou:
- good small size yet fits all of my daily essentials
- great for days out but not for work
- can be used inside out, the amount of leather feels more substantial
- no zip

Hobo:
- perfect size for travelling and work
- has a zip
- less structured
- I am petite (155cm) and I worry it'd look huge on me

I have both bags, and I find myself reaching for the mini anjou more. I like my boheme hobo bag (in green) but I find that for me, maybe I chose the wrong color. My mini anjou is in the black on black colorway, and is easier for me to pair with my outfits. If my boheme hobo were a different color, I could see myself using it more, maybe 50/50 split with the mini anjou. It's a great daily bag if you carry more than your keys, wallet, phone, and maybe sunglass case (these items are all I can fit in the mini anjou with an organizer in it to protect the leather).

So I would also suggest considering your wardrobe, what your daily carry items are, and what colors you would go for.

Thank you for sharing :) Although I haven't seen them irl, I think I do prefer the look of the mini anjou. But I do like that the hobo can fit more so I can use it for travelling too. I guess I will just have to see and try them on. Hopefully I can get either in the black on black too, that'd be ideal!

Agree. I have both. The boheme hobo is in skyblue and the mini anjou is tan trim and black. I use both quite often, almost 50/50 split. Both of them are great bags!

I had both but sold the mini Anjou (green) and replaced it with the Anjou pm in green. My boheme is in grey. I don’t carry a lot on a daily basis so capacity was not an issue for me. I definitely prefer the boheme because it’s so easy and effortless to carry. The mini Anjou was adorable and while the mini fit comfortably over my shoulder, it just looked silly slung over my shoulder so I found myself carrying it exclusively as a handheld/crook of the arm bag. I think I parted with it because I gravitate towards bags I can crosssbody when I want to carry a smaller bag, but I still think the mini Anjou is such a casual yet chic little bag.

Do you travel a lot? I was torn on the mini anjou but I decided I have other bags that I use for travel and my green mini anjou has been my favorite purchase this year. I work from home so no need for a work bag, and I leave the house for small things like gym/groceries and I almost always grab my mini. I'm usually a crossbody fan but this mini is just such a dang cute bag

Is the black with tan trim more versatile than black on black? I wasn’t sure if the brown looked funny in the smaller Anjou… like disproportion. I definitely like it in the bigger Anjou but not sure in the mini.

I can’t decided between black on black or black with brown. The brown is growing on me.. it might go with summer outfits too!

The majority of the bags I have are black, so I chose the black with tan trim, and I think I can use it all year round. It looks pretty!
