MIF... better quality or just preference?

When I bought my speedyb25 last year I didnt care to look at where it was made. I inspected it and took it home. I don't baby it and wear it every day.. it still looks new! I have a question... is the quality better when its Made in France (i.e. long term wear and tear) or is it just a preference?


Curious to know because I plan to buy another LV and wonder about quality issues. Thanks in advance!

*I own a speedy monogram MIU and one in DE MIF. I wear the DE because its easier, without worrying about vachetta. Now seeing how much is produced in MIF (because of pandemic affecting US production), I wish I held off on monogram...but then there would be a paradox because if I first bought the DE then it would have been MIU.

Preference. I never care where my items made from. But where i live, we always get MIF or MIS. i haven't seen a MIU

MIF is my preference because it feels more special to me. I know that it really doesn't matter, though.

I have Made in Italy and Made in Spain pieces, their quality is just as good. However, as many mention, we do not come across Made in USA items over this part of the world.

Preference...I have MIF, MIS, & MIU items & luckily I haven’t had any quality issues with any of them.

It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever to the quality. It’s common to get Made in France here in the UK, most of mine are, but I’ve never actively tried to get MiF.

Totally preference. LV is a French company so I think a lot of people like it best to see MIF. But I have had no problems with MII, MIS or MIU and I have pieces from all of the various locations.
