How do you get the little number at the end of a sentence you write when you are crediting a source you use? Does anyone know what this is called? Here's an example...
Starbucks is the largest coffeehouse company in the world,[1]


How do I get the # to go up like that???

***lol its not showing it up here but the #1 is little and abouve that sentence...
 
I did, in fact, read the entire thread. I was merely pointing out that a footnote is preferable to simply adding a superscript, in the event that that is what the OP did. Thanks for the education on the etiquette of posting, I shall try not to breach it again.
