Hi guys,

I just got this new bag as a present and it has both a metal tag AND a serial number.
It’s a serial number 31XXXXXX and bag from 2021/2022 (the mini flap pearl crush)
But it has also the metal tag (with code N1958XXX).
Does anyone know if there was some kind of transition periode where the bags had dubble codes?

There’s no way a Chanel bag would have 2 different serial number (at least to my knowledge which I’m not an expert by any means!) I believe that they introduced the metal plates in April 2021. did you also get the card too?! So strange….

It should be either or, not both. It might be a fake one if it comes with both
