I think the design is functional because the outer pockets are great for dropping your phone or keys in. Also it's a great bag to go handsfree with and the strap drop length is really comfortable. The MK monogram, silver hardware, and patent finish however don't suit my personal preferences but the decision is ultimately yours[emoji5]

This is a popular bag style (similar to the LV Totally), but I also don't like the shiny patent finish on this one.

Yep. It makes me think of the Totally as well. On the Shiny patent finish it's all in what a person likes. I have a large wristlet in the gunmetal color that I use a lot but I was never able to pull the trigger on a bag in this material. But my sister has this same bag in the rose gold color and also a Grayson in the silver and she loves them both. So it's really all in how you feel about the patent leather finish.
