I just snagged this MK joplin tote on serious discount, but since I've brought it home I've had second thoughts about how much I love it, so i'm fishing for some opinions

I have been looking for a gray patent bag and kind of had my heart set on the foley & corinna mid-city tote- it has a totally different vibe to it, but the patent on this is so luscious and the chocolate detailing really caught my eye.

I also don't generally like hardware or studs on my handbags either, but I thought the clasps on this were kind of fun- i have a MMK santorini corn husk clutch that also has the same clasp on it and it works really well on a small scale, but with double clasps on both sides of the handle it's worrying me that i won't be able to use this as a versatile everyday bag

Any opinions?

I bought this bag for my mom in black for Christmas. I absolutely love the style!! It's actually made me want a patent bag myself. The hooks and leather strap on this bag are especially delectable.

I think it looks great. Love the style of it. I am not into a lot of hardware/studs but this looks good on it and is not that much. I have never been into patent leather but this bag overall looks great. I like it a lot.

whew! i'm glad it's a winner, i got worried that i was seduced by the price and got uncomfy with the extent of the clasps- i have the clutch in this pic and LOVE it, and its pretty obvious the tote takes the clasps on a much bigger scale and looks overdone in comparison, i got worried, but i think my love is affirmed- i guess gray patent is always a winner

I have the shoulder bag of this line in dark green patent and just today jumped at the same bag in grey because of a sale price. I almost bought the one you got, but remembered that I am happier with single handle hobos. The grey looks like it will be a fab middle-grey color, not too light or dark.

Most of the comments I get are on the unusual hardware and how it is not too much.

glad you enjoy it pink! i loved the green patent, it was such a rich color and i almost grabbed it instead, but i've been wanting a gray bag and knew if i went home with a green bag, i'd still be looking for gray :)

I think it is a great-looking bag! I think the play of the shiny gray patent and the brown leather is very interesting, and it is a great size and shape. Enjoy!

I placed an order for this bag last month, but I then my order got cancelled. I like the color and the leather handle. not too much liking the hardware, but it looks good altogether though.

Wow what a beautiful bag! I would def keep it but if your having second thoughts it's really up to you. I know sometimes I'll think I want one bag and then see a diff one and realize its going to work for me even better then the other one. Carry it for a couple days to see how it feels and if you start to really love it or are unsure. The last thing you want to do is have it sit unused in your closet for months.
